# How I review a whole website with AI without letting the AI decide

An energy multinational with websites in several countries. The Spanish version brought very little traffic compared with the others, and the AIs told the wrong story about the brand. I reviewed it all with AI. This is how.

Anonymised real case · Juan Luis Mora

**5 %**of the organic clicks of the whole website came from Spain

**−93 %**text errors after the corrections, measured with the same analysis

**4**AI assistants asked the same buyer questions

## The problem

Technically the website was fine. Spain brought around 5 % of the clicks of the whole site, with the average position on page three.

Looking closely, it had what a website translated from another language always has: half-translated text and dates, the title of a key page in Italian, the same product with two different technical figures, Latin American vocabulary, formal and informal "you" mixed, template button text never changed, and the brand written in many different ways.

And the worst one: the website used a correct synonym, but not the word people in Spain use to search for the product.

## How I do it with AI

1. **I download the whole website.**Every page in HTML, as published. The AI works on the real files.
2. **I set the criteria.**Spanish from Spain, one form for each product and technology name, the search word in titles and H1. Without written criteria the AI corrects as it likes.
3. **The AI reads page by page and logs every change.**A sheet with the page, the place, before, after and why. Thousands of rows that can be reviewed with the client.
4. **I review what the AI cannot know.**No invented data. If two pages give different figures, the product data sheet wins, and anything doubtful is flagged for the client.
5. **I run the same analysis again.**Text errors dropped by 93 %, and what remains is justified one by one.

## Asking the AIs about the brand

I asked ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity the same buyer questions. One attributed the brand to another company. Another confused it with a company from another country. In generic questions none of them named the brand, even though it had the best answer.

The fix is not fighting the AI. It is putting the right answer on the website, short, easy to quote and with its source.

## Where it is now

The corrected website has been delivered, ready to publish, with the change sheet and the report. The client's team publishes it. There are no traffic results to tell yet. When there are, I will update this case.
